Gold Master "700" Director

Master Director Debbie Hite earns the first GOLD MASTER "700" DIRECTOR ranking in Region 4! At the International competition in Nashville in October 2009, not only did the Pride of Kentucky Chorus win a third place bronze medal in the chorus competition but our director, Debbie Hite, earned the rank of "Master 700 Director" status, recognized by a gold Master 700 director pin. This prestigious title is a new honor that Sweet Adelines International created to recognize those Directors who have achieved the Master Level in the Director Certification Program and the very rare score of 700 points at a regional contest or 1400 points at International.

The Pride of Kentucky Chorus of Sweet Adelines International is a women's organization dedicated to excellence in singing barbershop harmony, growth and achievement through performance and competition, and service to the community -- all in an atmosphere of mutual love and respect.

Pride of Kentucky are International Third Place Medalists!

Pride of Kentucky had a wonderful time at the 2009 Sweet Adelines International Competition in Nashville, Tennessee, bringing home a third place medal. We are so excited and want to thank everyone for their support in helping us reach this milestone. We also want to congratulate Gem City Chorus, 6th Place Medalists, Scioto Valley Chorus, 1st Place Division A Medalists, The Brats, 2nd Place Rising Star Quartet Medalists, our very own Chatterbox! Quartet, Paper Dolls and Bits 'n Pieces Quartet for their awesome performances! Along with Moxie Ladies and Swinglish Mix Quartets, what wonderful representation from Region 4 all week at the convention.
