Here's what to expect when you visit
the Pride of Kentucky Chorus
The Pride of Kentucky Chorus welcomes visitors year-round, and encourages full participation in rehearsals from day one. Rehearsals always begin with physical movement, which helps us to shake off the day, 'warm up' our instruments, and shift mental focus toward effective rehearsal practices. Please come in comfortable clothing and shoes that allow you to move freely. Following an initial vocal assessment to determine which part best suits your range and voice, you'll be assigned a riser position and participate fully in rehearsal. And after your first rehearsal you'll have guest access to digital music and learning tracks. We’ll also provide you with a “Map to Membership” document which fully explains the pathway to membership.
Rehearsals are typically every Tuesday, at 7 P.M. at our rehearsal space:
221 Kopp Ave.
Jeffersonville, IN 47130
We are conveniently located just over the Lincoln or 2nd Street Bridge, close to Clark Memorial Hospital.
Accessibility
The Pride of Kentucky Chorus welcomes individuals with disabilities. Our organization embraces empowerment for all at the local, regional, and international level. If you are planning a first time visit and are vision or movement impaired or have other needs, we encourage you to reach out in advance so we can ensure that your visit is comfortable.
